Faces in the crowd at Business SA events

Walking with networkers

Keeping an eye on networkers

The Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) opened its doors to a record number of 276 members last month, to network and find out more about the venue and the worldwide phenomenon, Walking with Dinosaurs.

AEC Chief Executive Officer, Anthony Kirchner, divulged a few facts and figures about the venue and its growing success, and then introduced Puppetry Director for Walking with Dinosaurs, Matthew McCoy.

Sydney based McCoy walked us through the process of Walking with Dinosaurs from its conception to creation.

Secrets about how the dinosaur skins were made to the dangers of manoeuvring the dinosaur puppets were told in an entertaining and exciting manner.

Guests also heard from presenter Peter de Cure, who talked about one of the world’s leading professional service firms, KPMG.

As an exclusive to Business SA, members had the opportunity to tour the venue, gaining an insight into the action backstage…it’s rumoured a Stegosaurus may have been seen along the way!

The AEC’s catering department supplied delicious canapés including sushi and crunchy chip cones with white balsamic and sea salt to guests in the Alchemy Room.

Networkers also received goodie bags to take home, filled with merchandise and information about our series sponsors, including a bag of Haigh’s chocolates courtesy of KPMG.

Business SA’s Marketing Manager Chris Crago hosted the evening with poise and gave out the final door prizes to the lucky recipients listed below.
