What does Skilling South Australia mean for your business?

In the recent State Budget, the Liberal Government announced it will be investing $100 million in creating more than 20,000 new apprenticeships and traineeships, while securing a further $100 million from the Federal Government through the Skilling Australians fund. Some of the key take-outs from the announcement include: 
  • Less red tape for your business to employ a trainee or apprentice
  • Re-establishment of the Industry Skills Councils
  • A new state-wide advisory service to help you employ apprentices or trainees
