The South Australian Business Chamber CEO Andrew Kay has confirmed AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan will present at the official AFL Gather Round Business Lunch in Adelaide on Friday 14 April 2023.
“As the whole league ascends on South Australia, it is only fitting that the audience of business leaders gets to hear from the AFL chief executive, Gillon McLachlan in his hometown of Adelaide”, said Mr Kay.
The luncheon event, which is being held at the Adelaide Convention Centre was announced in February and has been welcomed by the business community and footy fans, who have quickly secured their seats for what is expected to be a sell-out event.
“Playing a whole round of footy in South Australia not only brings our 18 clubs and their players into Adelaide, it brings our Club presidents and CEOs, corporate partners and business leaders from all parts of the country,” Mr McLachlan said
“The AFL Gather round business lunch will be one of the great events of the week and I look forward to joining all the other business leaders and their teams at the Convention Centre for an afternoon of networking and great entertainment.”
The extended line-up of speakers and entertainment is yet to be announced, but the South Australian Business Chamber can confirm Premier Peter Malinauskas will also be speaking.
