The South Australian Business Chamber, South Australia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is pleased with the result of the joint parliamentary committee inquiry into the merger of the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia.
The South Australian Business Chamber has long supported the merger, detailing recommendations in its 9‑point plan to skyrocket SA (2020) and Charter22 – For a more prosperous South Australia (2021). The South Australian Business Chamber reiterated its position in its submission to the committee in August and directly to the committee in its hearing on 4 September 2023.
