Cleaning Services Award 2020

The Cleaning Services Award 2020 applies to employers throughout Australia in the contract cleaning services industry and their employees listed in the classifications, to the exclusion of any other Modern Award.

Contract cleaning services industry means the business of providing cleaning services under a contract and includes:

  • Cleaning (including event cleaning, trolley collection and hygiene and pollution control but excluding trolley collection covered by the General Retail Industry Award 2010); and
  • Minor property maintenance which is incidental or peripheral to cleaning
