Dry Cleaning And Laundry Industry Award 2020

The Dry Cleaning and Laundry Industry Award 2020 applies to employers throughout Australia in the dry cleaning and laundry industry and their employees listed in the classifications to the exclusion of any other Modern Award.

“Dry cleaning and laundry industry” means the industry of:

• Dry cleaning, dyeing and/or repairing and/or invisible mending of garments or articles in dry cleaning establishments or their auxiliary receiving depots;
• Washing, sorting and/or packing of laundry in laundries and laundrettes including the repair of items and preparation of garments for rental; and
• Performing any operation incidental to the activities above in dry cleaning, laundry or combined dry cleaning/laundry establishments.
